A Guide to Rival Classic 3-reel and Bonus 5-reel Casino Slot Machinesby Gregory DeVictor

Slot machines are the most popular casino game in the world, both at land-based casinos and on Internet gambling sites. Rival, founded in 2006, is one of the major software providers for the online gambling industry. This article, the last in a series of three, discusses Rival’s 3-reel and 5-reel slot machines.

Before we proceed, let’s review the basics of online slot machines. The main categories of online slots include classic 3-reel slots, video slots, and progressive slots.

Classic 3-reel slots are computerized versions of the slot machines that were invented by Charles Fey in 1887.  Classic 3-reel slots are perfect games for the beginning player because of their easy and straightforward format.

Video slots are modern 5-reel slot machines. Many of the newer video slots have bonus features, such as free spins.

Progressive slots accumulate deposits from their players from a number of online casinos to create jackpots that grow by the minute.

Now we can proceed to Rival’s 3-reel and 5-reel slot machines.

- Reel of Fortune is a 5-reel, 20 pay-line slot machine that has free spins, wild symbols, and scatter symbols. It accepts coins from $0.01 to $0.25, and the maximum number of coins that you can bet per spin is 5. The maximum jackpot is $5.00.

- Reel Party is a 5-reel, 15 pay-line slot machine that has free spins, wild symbols, and scatter symbols. It accepts coins from $0.01 to $0.50, and the maximum number of coins that you can bet per spin is 5. The maximum jackpot is 5,000 coins.

- Scary Rich is a 5-reel, 20 pay-line slot machine that has free spins, wild symbols, and scatter symbols. It accepts coins from $0.01 to 0.25, and the maximum number of coins that you can bet per spin is 10. The maximum jackpot is 10,000 coins.

- Secret Garden is a 5-reel, 20 pay-line slot machine that has free spins, wild symbols, and scatter symbols. It accepts coins from $0.01 to $0.50, and the maximum number of coins that you can bet per spin is 10. The maximum jackpot is 5,000 coins.

- Sevens and Bars is a classic 3-reel, single pay-line slot machine. It accepts coins from $0.05 to $5.00, and the maximum number of coins that you can bet per spin is 3. The maximum jackpot is 2,500 coins.

- So 80’s is a 5-reel, 15 pay-line slot machine that has free spins, wild symbols, and scatter symbols. It accepts coins from $0.05 to $1.00, and the maximum number of coins that you can bet per spin is 5. The maximum jackpot is 5,000 coins.

- Surf Paradise is a classic 3-reel, single pay-line slot machine. It accepts coins from $0.05 to $5.00, and the maximum number of coins that you can bet per spin is 2. The maximum jackpot is 2,000 coins.

- The Atomic Age is a 5-reel, 15 pay-line slot machine that has free spins, wild symbols, and scatter symbols. It accepts coins from $0.01 to $1.00, and the maximum number of coins that you can bet per spin is 5. The maximum jackpot is 7,500 coins.

- Travel Bug is a 5-reel, 20 pay-line slot machine that has free spins, wild symbols, and scatter symbols. It accepts coins from $0.01 to $0.25, and the maximum number of coins that you can bet per spin is 10. The maximum jackpot is 5,000 coins.

- Watch The Birdie is a 5-reel, 15 pay-line slot machine that has free spins, wild symbols, and scatter symbols. It accepts coins from $0.01 to $0.50, and the maximum number of coins that you can bet per spin is 5. The maximum jackpot is 1,500 coins.

- Wheel of Cash is a 5-reel, 20 pay-line slot machine that has free spins, wild symbols, and scatter symbols. It accepts coins from $0.01 to $0.25, and the maximum number of coins that you can bet per spin is 10. The maximum jackpot is 5,000 coins.

- Winter Wonders is a 5-reel, 25 pay-line slot machine that has free spins, wild symbols, and scatter symbols. It accepts coins from $0.01 to $5.00, and the maximum number of coins that you can bet per spin is 5. The maximum jackpot is 5,000 coins.

So there you have it, a look at 11 of Rival’s 3-reel and 5-reel slot machines. Whether you play slots online or at a land-based casino, remember to gamble only with the money you can afford to lose. Decide beforehand how much you wish to spend, and don’t exceed your spending limit should you lose. Finally, have fun and quit while you are ahead.
