Is it illegal to sell a slot machine that takes real money (USD) in the state of Texas?
I have a slot machine I want to sell. It was initially purchased with my knowledge that it had been “converted” to accept only tokens and will be sold with around 250 tokens. I placed an ad in a local shopper, and I have received several calls from people who are interested, but they have all asked whether or not it works with real money (quarters). I know it does, I’ve tried it out myself, but can I tell them this? I would really like to sell it, but I don’t want to risk getting in trouble over knowingly selling a gambling device that accepts real money in the state of Texas.

I’d Stick to the tokens– its only considered legal as long as it has been modified for amusement purposes only.
